The Durham Region Association of Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs (DRABPE) is a pillar of progress within one of Canada's most vibrant Black communities. Established in 2017 and incorporated in 2018 as a not-for-profit, DRABPE supports Black-owned businesses in Durham Region by providing resources, networking opportunities, mentorship, and educational programs to address poverty, social inequities, and promote wellness. Our mission fosters entrepreneurship and professional growth, with initiatives like the STEMM program impacting over 30 Black youth. Located in Ajax, Ontario, and affiliated with the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, we focus on practical, community-driven interventions for long-term economic uplift.
