FACE and TD connect on “Propelling Black Entrepreneurship Program”
FACE and TD connect on “Propelling Black Entrepreneurship Program”
The Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE), broke boundaries by offering its Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund, and has now partnered with TD Bank Group (TD) to create a new “Propelling Black Entrepreneurship Program.” Launching in April 2023, the initiative will provide training, financial tools, mentorship opportunities, and access to FACE’s regional partners and service providers. Entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to take part in quarterly virtual or in-person training sessions focused on getting the financing needed from lenders to build their business. Additional support will focus on the development of business plans and tax filings, with the aim of creating stronger applications and a significant increase in the likelihood of accessing much-needed funding. In addition, TD has committed 50 grants valued $2,500 – $5,000, to Black entrepreneurs across the country.
