Colour Their World

Although it's important that my Titles represent all nationalities, the message that each one conveys is just as important.. One of which is to assist children dealing with grief/ loss, the other to instill in that young reader that they are unique within their family unit, it's all about perception and the way children perceive their guardians and the many hats they may wear. It highlights community helpers and sends the message of not letting one's disability prevent them from accomplishing their ambitions. The *Colour Their World* YouTube channel is home to weekly read-alouds, presented through music and animated storytelling. The selection of stories on the YouTube channel cater to a range of ethnicities and heritages. We have over 140 books on the channel that are also used by many, including educators. As part of *Colour Their World* I visit elementary schools to present my literature through read-alouds and activities to Grades 1-4 which encourage emotional and mental health. I believe that literacy is not only important, as you know, but showing students a positive representation of this career is most essential. That reading is fun, it’s therapeutic, and has so much to offer. It is our pleasure to serve our community. Looking forward to hearing from you!
