How DRABPE handles website information, preferences, and directory submissions.
What we collect
When you contact DRABPE or submit a business listing request, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, business details, and message. We use it to respond, review listings, and operate DRABPE programs and services.
Cookies and browser storage
When you save a choice, DRABPE stores only your category selections in the first-party drabpe_cookie_consent cookie for up to 180 days. If your browser blocks cookies, a first-party local-storage fallback is used with the same 180-day limit.
The on-site bell shows recent news and upcoming events. If you allow functional preferences, first-party browser storage remembers which alerts you have read for up to 180 days. When functional storage is declined, alerts still work and read status is kept only in memory for the current page. Revoking functional preferences deletes the saved alert read-state. Google Maps in the shared footer and the Google booking form are third-party embeds; they load only after you allow functional content. Direct links remain available without loading the embeds.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary — always allowed. Needed to remember your privacy choice and support essential site delivery or security features where used.
Functional and preferences — recommended to allow. Enables convenience features such as remembering update dismissals and displaying news-recency indicators. It also permits the embedded map and booking form to load.
Analytics and performance — optional. May measure usage and site performance. Off by default; no analytics tracking tag is currently included in the main DRABPE page and script sources audited.
Advertising and marketing — blocked by default. Covers personalized ads and cross-site retargeting. No advertising or retargeting tag is currently included in the main DRABPE page and script sources audited.
Social-media tracking — blocked by default. Covers social-network pixels and similar tracking. No social tracking pixel was found in the main site source audit; social links open a platform only when you choose to follow them.
Recommended choice: keep necessary storage on, allow functional preferences if you want the convenience features, treat analytics as optional, and leave advertising and social tracking off. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Third-party services: Google may process technical browser or network information when you allow its map or booking-form embed to load. The direct Google Maps and booking-form links remain available, and Google’s own privacy terms apply to those services.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time.
Events, news, and directory data
Published event, news, and business directory content is stored in DRABPE’s content database. Public listings and updates are displayed to visitors. Do not submit sensitive personal information through public forms.
How we protect information
We limit access to administrative systems, review public submissions before publishing, and use encrypted connections where available. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask about, correct, or request removal of personal information that you have submitted to DRABPE. Contact us with enough information for us to locate the relevant submission.
